1. National Service Scheme:
The aim of this programme is to make students aware of the social responsibility and service for the nation in crisis. Total 297 students from both the colleges took part in the activities like AIDS awareness, Blood donation, Thallesamia checkup, tree planting and " Shram" Shibirs.
2. National Cadets Crops:
The N.C.C. aims at teaching the toughest lessons of discipline. Programme on Map reading, Civil defence, first Aid, Field draft are organized every year. Total 60 students of this university took part in combined Annual training and tracking camp held at Vadodara. 35 students participated in the Basic Mountaineering training course organized at Mount Abu.
3. Cultural activities:
Cultural activities have become the intrinsic part of the regular activities performed by the students. It gives a chance to students to hone their talents, in various forms of arts. To give them encouragement their performances are organised during the annual day.
4. Sports and Games:
During the current year the NAU teams participated in volleyball and cricket competition organized at Bhopal and Amravati respectively.
5. College Magazine:
To encourage students to master their writing skills both colleges publish their college magazines every year.
6. Students counseling and placement:
University has recently established a counseling and placement cell under the Director of students' welfare. This unit advises the graduate students of this university about the job opportunities available in public, private and co-operative sectors as well as arranging campus interviews for them.
